The best season for traveling to Egypt is between October and May. Even though this is the peak season, the temperatures are better particularly for those who aren’t used to the heat. It is necessary to book your hotel early particularly where you are traveling during Christmas and Easter holiday.
There are tourists who avoid traveling to the country during the month of Ramadan as food and alcohol are not available. Things to do
A visit to Egypt would be incomplete without a cruise in the River Nile. This includes a visit to the Edfu, Esna and Kom Ombo temples. You can also take a short cruise to Luxor, which includes a visit to the West Bank to have a view of the Kings and Queens valleys. Remember to have a tour guide with you during a cruise visit.
